Shared Leadership
Every member of Quadball Canada steps up to lead in ways large and small, from leading a warm-up to running a tournament. As a young, volunteer-led sport, we work in collaboration with our members and the broader sport community in the same way our athletes learn from one another on the pitch. We strive to achieve our goals collectively, and make room for everyone to contribute along the way.
Safety
We consider the safety of our community before all else. We strive to make playing quadball a positive and healthy experience and to protect the physical, cultural, and emotional welfare of our members and volunteers.
Anti-oppression and anti-racism in sports
We recognize that sports are not always a safe and welcome place for all people, and that many experience systemic exclusion or discrimination in organized sports. We are committed to actively working to combat oppression and racism in our sport and the broader community. We believe that sport is not divorced from social and political issues, but is a venue for conversation and a vehicle for change.
