Meet the Board

Jasper joined quadball in the fall of 2018 and by Jan 2019 was already vice president of the Edmonton Quadball Association. In this role, they created a recreational program in the Edmonton Area for non-competitive quadball, updated the clubs policies, and ran several iterations of the western fantasy tournament Solsnitch. In addition to volunteering, they have played as a chaser on the Edmonton Aurors, Alberta Clippers, Team Canada Bubble, and Munich Wolpertingers.

Lauren joined the University of Waterloo quadball team in the fall of 2023, becoming part of the leadership team the following spring. She has played for the Toronto Raiders for two seasons and for Canada at Nations Cup 2024 in Spain. She is currently working on her undergraduate degree in civil engineering at UW.

Alex (known as Rivvy to many) has been part of the Quadball community since he joined the University of Ottawa's team during the first year of his health sciences undergrad in 2020. He served as the club’s VP finance in 2021, and then two terms as club president from 2022-2024. He has played for the Ottawa Black Bears since 2022, and was a member of Team Canada’s development team in 2024. He is currently finishing a Master’s in Anatomical Science Education at uOttawa. You can usually spot him on the pitch by whatever colour his hair happens to be that month.

Calla first started playing Quadball in 2023 for the University of Guelph, serving as the socials and social media executive during her second year. She is currently playing for the Toronto-based club team, Mischief. Calla has also played for the Toronto Raiders (MLQ), Team 'Bubble' (QNC), and the Southampton Quadball Club (QUK). Outside of Quadball, she is studying Classical studies, art history and museum studies at the University of Guelph.

Max joined the quadball community in 2016, playing for the Carleton Ravens, and later also playing for the Ottawa Black Bears. He has since served as the VP of the Carleton Ravens, as well as the Assistant Manager, and later Manager of the Ottawa Black Bears. He retired as a player in 2024 due to injuries, but still remains involved in the community.

Mikah has been an active member of the Quadball community and UBC Quadball since September 2024. He is motivated about growing Quadball at the university-level and values the development of teams as a whole. He is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at UBC’s School of Kinesiology and aspires to work either in health care or education. Mikah has an extensive sporting history! If you name a sport, he can connect it back to Quadball!

Zach has been in the quadball community since 2022, playing with Carleton Ravens. He is currently a Co-coach for the Carleton Ravens team, and loves to help encourage new players and foster growth and community for the sport. He has also been playing for The Ottawa Blackbears MLQ team and Team Canada. Outside of Quadball Zach is pursuing a Degree in Economics at Carleton University.
