What is Quadball?

Quadball is played by two teams of seekers, chasers, beaters, and keepers working together while mounted on brooms. Chasers score goals with the quaffle through elevated hoops, beaters use bludgers to create tactical advantages, and keepers defend their hoops. The match ends when the seeker captures the snitch, adding points and triggering the final score.

The sport was built with a gender maximum rule to ensure mixed-gender play, creating an inclusive environment where athletes of all genders compete on equal footing. Clubs across Canada offer opportunities ranging from introductory community sessions to elite national team training camps.

Quadball Canada supports officials, coaches, and volunteers with certification pathways, event resources, and safety standards so that every game is consistent and player focused.
